Founder & CEO
Self Care visionary, author, entrepreneur, pharmacist, medicines reclassification and marketing commercialisation specialist. Anna is passionate about widening access to medicines and is building Maxwellia to make it happen.


Jack Grimshaw
Finance Director
Jack is our financial wizard. His head for figures has brought him success in fast-growing entrepreneurial environments across a diverse range of sectors. Coming from the pharmacy finance team at Sainsbury’s, Jack was instrumental in both the growth of the business and its subsequent sale to Lloyds Pharmacy. Design and implementation of high growth strategies are his ‘raison d’etre’, not to mention a highly developed skill for business funding.
Alexandra Trehane
Head of Innovation
Alex is passionate about Self Care. She is responsible for picking the winners and bringing our ideas to life to deliver useful and better brands that consumers want to buy. Alex is known for pushing boundaries and rolling up her sleeves to get the job done.


Kim Wathall
Senior Brand Manager
Kim is a highly skilled marketer with a breadth of experience in digital, media, comms and content. Bringing fresh eyes and ideas to the OTC arena, and on a mission to drive awareness of our game-changing self care brands, Kim is determined to help educate and improve the lives of our customers through innovative marketing solutions.
Mark Turrell
Business Development Consultant
Mark has a wealth of experience in senior commercial roles in Health and Wellness companies, most recently with Ascension Healthcare and Nelsons.
Well known as a proactive leader of senior customer engagement across channels including Pharmacy, E-Commerce and International Distributors. Mark is passionate about widening healthcare choice for consumers and patients through building effective strategic partnerships with key customer groups and across global markets.

Sarah-Jane is dedicated to ensuring customers have easy access to trusted brands at the right price.
Never failing to deliver on her promises, Sarah-Jane is passionate about building lasting relationships with suppliers & customers to create highly efficient global supply chains within the OTC arena.
Emily Walker
Brand and Digital Executive
A digital marketing whizz, with a passion for creating engaging and impactful content, Emily takes the lead on keeping our brand websites and social channels on point.
With a degree in Journalism and Media, Emily recognises the importance of a good hook and uses her experience to help drive the growth of our brands. She believes in providing the best customer service and supporting team members to deliver work to the highest standard.


Jenny Davies
Senior Regulatory Project Manager
With over 30 years’ regulatory experience in the self-care sector, Jenny provides strategy advice for our switch projects. As enthusiastic and passionate today, as she was when she first started her regulatory career, Jenny will navigate the complex and evolving regulatory landscape to achieve the best results for Maxwellia, the Health Authorities, and our customers.
Dr Stephen Mann
Medical and Scientific Lead
Steve is a medic and Self Care innovator he’s our ideas guy. He has been closely involved on a wide range of switches across many therapeutic areas including gastrointestinal, infectious diseases, cardiovascular, urology, neuroscience and dermatology.


Peter Ballard
Non-Executive Director
Peter is an experienced pharma executive and chair of the British Generics Manufacturers Association. He has considerable M&A and in-licencing experience. Peter is our ‘fixer’, supporting our business development and finding solutions to complex problems.
Ian Adamson
Board Advisor
Ian brings over 30 years' International consumer health and personal care experience to the Maxwellia team. He is an advisor to the board of the UK Independent pharmacy chain Day Lewis plc, an advisor to the board of Spanish healthcare company ReVa Europe S.L and board advisor to East Midlands Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Prior to this Ian was Chief Commercial Officer and a main board director at SSL International plc with responsibility for a $1bn portfolio of brands, which included Durex and Scholl.


Chris Radford
Brand Strategy
A former marketing director of Pepsi, brand strategy consultant to Mars and Scotts Miracle Gro, and author of Attractive Thinking. Chris has worked with Anna and the team from the very earliest days at Maxwellia to develop insights about what matters to customers and translate these into brands and products that consumers will love. Chris acts as a strategic advisor to support the team with customer insight, brand positioning and marketing communications.
Sally Norman
Business Assistant
Sally is the backbone of our company, the glue that binds us all together. Her extensive admin skill set, built up over a number of years working in various industry sectors, gives her the ability to have a flexible approach and an aptitude to rise to any challenge. She enjoys supporting and assisting her team wherever her help is required, allowing her colleagues to concentrate their efforts on the important issues of the day.
