Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a multi-disciplinary task force to design, develop and deliver a portfolio of next generation OTC medicines using the Dynamic Switch™ Process.

  2. Represent the pharmacist and consumer in the development of the value proposition for each product and service ecosystem.

  3. Build relationships with internal and external key stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders in the successful delivery of the project plan.

The Role – Pharmarkitecht - (Pharmacist/Marketer/Product Architect)

  1. Lead product development of a portfolio of reclassification projects as defined in the Maxwellia project plan using the Dynamic Switch™ process.

  2. Apply focussed commercial, clinical, and legal skills together with the real-life experience of helping people in community pharmacy to make products and service ecosystems that consumers want to buy to support their own health.

  3. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders e.g. academic institutions, key opinion leaders, regulatory bodies, suppliers, retailers and other healthcare professionals.

  4. Develop and organise the Roadmap for each project ensure that key milestones are met. Co-ordinate the multi-disciplinary team to deliver against their milestones.

  5. Identify, hire and manage suppliers and agencies in the delivery of project plan across multiple disciplines e.g. supply, market research, branding, training, technology, graphic design. Facilitate the requirements of the core team members to ensure that they have the right resources in place.

  6. Facilitate the delivery of the key product related components of the reclassification application as determined by the project team e.g. copy, artwork, training content, sales materials, relevant technology.

  7. Control and manage each project budget within parameters, produce monthly summary and highlight any red flags and significant savings vs plan.

Personal Profile

  • Pharmacy Degree

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in community pharmacy

  • Strong technical knowledge of drugs in Rx and OTC

  • Experience of delivering self care initiatives in the community

  • Strong written and verbal communicator

  • Committed to deliver results within the given timelines

  • Ability to solve complex problems

  • Ability to effectively prioritise multiple demands, make good decisions and action

  • Open-minded individual able to finding new ways of doing business and always striving for improvement.

  • Fluent in English plus ideally another European Language

  • Able to make professional presentations with skill and confidence

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications, including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • An interest in health technology


Competitive salary up to £40,000, Pension + Private Healthcare
